I wonder if anyone ever worked on solving the question of how to leave food out for #stray #cats without it getting all eaten by the crows.
Not that I hate #crows but they certainly don't like sharing very much.
Right now my best idea is some kind of an enclosed space would be too scary for #birds to enter, but it's also likely one of the cats will decide it's their private real estate now.
Yeah I also hope to build them a proper apartment building eventually but it's not actually near my house and making sure no one is gonna be an ass about it is too many spoons atm. They seem to have basement and shed access for now.
@virtulis Enclosed space with a cat flap? That seems like something cats will at least recognize, but crows may not like.

@virtulis Amended idea: enclosed space with *two* cat flaps, on opposite sides. That should make it difficult for a single cat to claim and defend as a private space.
