mh~, poll, advice requested
So I went to see a new psychiatrist yesterday. Mostly to start getting prescriptions in my actual country of residence and not where I was first able to get a proper #ADHD diagnosis.
Of course we also talked a lot and of course she suggested #CBT. Problem is I'm not sure what to seek therapy *for* and she says it's something for me to figure out. There isn't one big thing with a huge negative impact on me.
I have a few problems , but I don't know which ones of these are fixable with CBT, or whether they even are at the right specificity level, so advice is very appreciated.
Or, without knowing me much, just vote for one that you think could be a good start :)
Boosts appreciated too!

@virtulis I do not have a strong opinion on what problems CBT may or may not be suitable for (if any at all); but what I *do* have a strong opinion about is that therapy forms and medication for ADHD are not mutually exclusive; getting back on medication helped me immensely to gain a grip on how my mind works, and allowed me to develop healthier coping strategies that are still useful even now that I can't take my medication anymore due to kidney disease.
It cleared the fog enough for me to get my shit in order in a lasting way, basically.

@virtulis Ah okay, that's good to hear :) As that's something I hear of a lot of psychs trying to do...
