@gsuberland@chaos.social Important addition: IIRC, the powder in powder-based extinguishers may be electrically safe to use, but it *does* corrode any electronics it comes into contact with, even if just a little bit - so any electronics in the vicinity of the fire will be instant e-waste, even if they would've otherwise been untouched by the fire
