Well, I have found the cause: it was the piezo-electric igniter in the gas stove, that was tripping an RCD. Somehow.
@Peetz0r I'd already been using a lighter because the igniter never worked reliably (and never has on any gas stove I've used...), and induction was already in the plans, but it requires some kitchen reconfiguration to pull off
@Peetz0r (Specifically, to install it safely, the counter needs to be extended, but to what degree depends on the new fridge, which I do not have yet)

Otherwise, eh, buying a lighter is the cheap/easy fix.
