All the conversation about blocking Facebook on #FediBlockMeta just seems to be a hundred identical copies of "hi, I'm a privileged dude and I haven't bothered to understand the actual reason people want to block Facebook, and therefore everybody arguing to do so is short-sighted, because surely nobody would care about anything other than protocol adoption"
