After Twitter with Musk, now it's Reddit with spez seemingly trying to pull the same shit as Andrew Lee did with Freenode, like trying to turn users against staff by waffling on about pseudo-"democracy"
These Tech Dudes(tm) really are all just copies from the same factory, aren't they

All I can say here to Reddit users is: keep fighting against this shit, keep being noisy about it, keep sabotaging spez's shit and use shitposting and ridicule as a weapon
Reddit itself probably cannot be saved, but the social cohesion of your community can be!

Of course Freenode is now an irrelevant shell of its former self that is still Technically An Existing IRC Network, and Twitter is in flames and being evicted from all of its offices (metaphorical ones included), so uh yeah
