You know the saying about how a specialist doesn't get paid for putting an X somewhere, but for being the one to know *where* to put the X, with all the learning that that entails?

It works the same way for responsibility. "They can't be held responsible because someone else could have built the same harmful thing" is a bad excuse - because it's not about building the thing, it's about being the one to use your expertise for it.

@LupinoArts @joepie91 I'm sure the post is in relation to someone using it, but I don't think it is either.

If anything, that's the opposite of an excuse. So you're saying there is a number of people/companies that certainly could've, but made a decision not to.
