GUI-only users: I really don't want to have to use a terminal
terminal-only users: GUIs are trash, why isn't everything a terminal application
Generalized, obviously, but it's remarkable how there's such a common difference between "I don't want to" vs. "nobody should want to"

@joepie91 i love both.
to me a terminal is like a chat with the machine and it you can log and maybe even replay those logs eventually in a sandboxed setting.
on the othe mr hand, all that interaction could build up and change state visualized in a GUI and every GUI action cna just be translated to yet another terminal command.
i'd love to work that way

It would be great if more GUI applications were designed to be scriptable, and to allow batch-processing
I feel like, even in the open source world, it is rare to see GUI applications that are designed to be scriptable (outside of maybe a handful of GNU project applications)
