What's the deal with this "turning a free pallet into a $500 coffee table" genre of woodworking videos? Like, is this trying to appeal to the 'get rich quick' demographic, or do they genuinely consider the selling price to be *the* most important part of woodworking, or what?
@joepie91 My faves are the "This coffee table is worth 13,000!" clickbait headlines when the piece 1) looks like Rooms to Go furniture and 2) was never sold, but kept for use. So... where does that number come from?
