sweet jesus, some ants found the kitchen counter overnight. there were 3 crumbs so of course this necessitated 5000 ants
i feel bad killing them when they think they're just tidying up a little morsel they found, but they report our position to the enemy (more ants) and i don't know how to gently discourage them. what am i gonna do, put them outside
@eevee iirc there's some way to disrupt their 'smell' and lay a false trail that leads them back outside, but I forgot what it was
@joepie91 @eevee I think vinegar erases their trails IWRC? Dunno how to lay a new one though.
