Please #help. There is an account that I can’t find through search even though I try it with the full link with a server name. If I open this acc through my friend feed and tap “follow” it says “login if you’re on the same server or search for the full link if not”. Which brings us back to the beginning. I can find and follow other accounts. My friends can find and follow this account. So it’s not the restrictions of the account mentioned and probably not my server restriction as well.
@nevermind There's a weird bug I've noticed where sometimes searching for the URL to the account's page doesn't work, but posting the account identifier itself (so @user@example.com) does. Worth a try, if you haven't yet?
@joepie91 unfortunately I tried all the variants: just name, name with the server, and the full link
