Algorithmic feeds and fuzzy search are both inevitable mainstream features as the ecosystem grows. People need those to be able to use the platform effectively.
good thing i'm not people because i've been using the Fediverse rather effectively without any of those things thank you very much!

@Vierkantor That particular passage sure sounds like they're promising full-text search indexing next. I hope they at least have the sense to only do that for their own instance..

@joepie91 For what it's worth, this is quoted from a post (https://equel.social/@alasaarela/109553882021683216) dated December 21th 2022, so they might very well already have some concrete work towards full-text indexing...
