still mildly brainwormed by the idea of doing my own ActivityPub server impl, but honestly, unless I can come up with a genuinely interesting and unique (and effective) approach to community safety, I don't think it's worth bothering...
@zkat I honestly keep wondering about the differential climate impact between centralized and federated architectures, especially when the latter currently tend to be backed by languages that are dependent on interpreter overhead. Not even by way of defending walled gardens, but more wondering where there's opportunities to do better?
In short, would love to RIIR if I had any spoons of any sort to do so...
