My modem now auto-reboots every night to work around a memory leak, and this is the reboot script I used:

Except the part where it's necessary to do these things. That's definitely stupid.
Also, these things have 15-minute resolution, right? Doesn't rebooting this way cause 15 minutes of downtime every night?
