y'know

i legiterally NEVER thought i'd see the end of being super duper mega depressed

like

i thought there was no way out

i thought i was just stuck in a slow downward spiral

but all it took was getting high enough to see through all the fog

then create a plan and slowly implement it

getting back on my HRT steadily

then getting on vitamin d

and then going out of my way to socialize with peeps

it's all really helped

like

so much

so so much

i'm cooking every day now, twice a day even

like this is unheard of

i've been in the best living situation of my life since arriving in seattle

but i was still depressed as fuck

but now i'm finally having decent -- or dare i say even GOOD -- mental health

so when you combine the best living situation i've ever been in with finally having alright mental health it's just like

amazing what i can accomplish

even if that accomplishment is just cooking twice a day every day

it's still such a huge achievement for me

fuck yeah

@vantablack I've had a very similar experience lately.... ADHD meds + a weighted blanket have been truly life-changing for me - I now actually wake up with a sense of "hmm what project could I spend time today on" instead of "oh no what chores do I have today"!

There's still mood swings here and there, but they're much more manageable now that I 'viscerally' know that there is in fact light at the end of the tunnel, and even on the bad days I'm still reasonably 'productive' (able to do chores etc.)
