bought the whole damn zine pack from @b0rk & i've been reading 1 per night

i've worked in tech (in infrastructure) for more than a decade & i'm learning like 10 new things per night & the format is maybe the most digestible i've ever seen

give julia your money. NOW

things i learned about HTTP last night:

- the domain is _only_ in the Host header (i always thought it was sent in some other way)
- HTTP/2 is digestible
- the differences between requests & responses (verbs vs status codes)
- how CORS works & why it exists (this shit always befuddled me before)

Follow

@j3s what does

"HTTP2 is digestible"

Mean?

@forestjohnson what i heard about it made it seem scary and impenetrable, but the little page about it in julia’s book was so short & simplifying to me that it felt approachable
