they keep commenting on our posts and we never read them. we don't even know that they're there. They're like ghosts, haunting the fediverse with no way to make themselves heard, no way to make a lasting impact, no way to even communicate with us. How miserable that must feel
I mean obviously I would prefer it if they didn't see or comment on normal people's stuff at all. But the way things are,
the sheer amount of keystrokes that must have gone into harassment that never reached its target because those instances were blocked years ago
the hours of time spent coming up with insults
the pointless rage over us coming together to block them
the vitriol boiling on that other side of the one way mirror
us only occasionally catching the tiniest glimpse of all that
