holy shit mastodon api performance goes down the drain when you start federating with even a few more instances
@f0x I feel like it may be compiling in the path instead of doing proper dynamic linking where it finds the so at runtime 🙄 (and yes the searched so file still exists. It's just modified which apparently is enough to break things)
@f0x for me it is already a deal killer that masto breaks on every System update as Ruby apparently dynamic links against the wrong so files. So each time icu for example is updated it crashes on start as it cannot find a so file and I end up having to reinstall all gems for it to unbreak :/
