My aphasia is being rude.

I'm looking for a word, about establishing/preparing the community for change before the change happens.

I come to anchor, but it doesn't feel right, is it?

Help please!

@maloki 'grounding' might somewhat work, is there a specific context you're trying to fit it in?

@f0x yes, like when a developer isn't preparing the community for a new feature and there's uproar because they weren't consulted 🤔🤔🤔

Or if they were, any criticism wasn't actually heard or taken into consideration.

So the developer forgot or neglected to (insert word) the feature with the community.

I'm unsure about the word order here. 😅

@maloki maybe something along the lines of 'discuss' 'pass by' 'collect feedback'

@maloki actually consult would be good, so maybe "the developer forgot or neglected to consult the community about this feature."

@f0x yes, but that's different.

Consulting is different than getting the community in board for it.
We used to use it a lot on here years ago. But my mind has completely lost it and forgotten how to explain it well.

@f0x nope. 😅

Gosh. My brain is so annoying atm.
