yesterday i learned that cops in belgium can just stop cars for no reason and force drivers to take a breathalyzer check; and if the driver refuses, they call a doctor out to do a blood check; and if the driver refuses *that*, then it's assumed that they would have failed the test anyway

so that's kinda horrifying
