like, okay they're a niche ingredient that traditionally doesn't suit many builds, however!! they have an undeniable satisfying crunch factor as well as a wet factor, which would make them difficult to place (either too crunchy or too soggy for the bread choice), BUT, putting very thin slices on lightly toasted bread mitigates those downsides and lets the cucumber shine, especially in other veggie-rich sandwiches, with a fresh flavor that can cut through a lot of things, I think it definitely has its place in the meta and im tired of never seeing it included in any build guides
