he has some good points regarding Go, but as someone who frequently pushes Rust, this post sorta echoes the general vibe I've got any time when interacting with the Rust community: intellectual elitism

@kim yeah it's very good. Also applies to javascript, which is basically the most accessible language to start in because everyone has a web browser...

@f0x yeah absolutely. I've definitely been guilty of this contempt at times. I have strong opinions on what i, personally, would rather code in, but i need to remember to keep it at _just_ that.

@kim yeah i'd still have the strong opinions against php and java (and javascript way back when) but then realize how much i hate when people talk about js that way now that i code in it for everything..
