Self-inflicted injury, don't open if you're squeamish, okay?
Did I mention that I managed to chop a bit of skin off my finger with scissors (by accident, of course) and I really would not recommend it.
Every time I take the plaster off, it starts stinging like a motherfucker and my figurative nerves are absolutely frayed right now because I just went and changed the plaster before bed and the pain just lingers for a little bit after.

@Jo those injuries are the absolute worst... and even worse when its due to something you should use anything else than a scissor for... cut a cocktail stick for an rc zeppelin wrong 2 years ago and still have a sizable scar on my left middle finger oof (no stitches thankfully)
