@jonw@hackers.town well there's a big difference with the conventional bluetooth trackers that only worked in range of your own device, whereas Apple's now uses their 'Find My network' to have every Apple device on the planet act as your search coverage, greatly increasing how much and how far you can track your tracker (anywhere there's other Apple devices)
