@anarchiv it was mostly really great, we did have some odd interactions with police while cycling, and one shop owner. Probably didn't help that only one of our group spoke a bit of Serbian and mostly Hungarian so :/

@f0x I can imagine. I had so many weird moments, like when I was reading a huge recruitment poster on a wall and suddenly heard a noise and there was a soldier with his AK shouldered just casually standing at the traffic light next to me. Or smoking on the train with my feet dangling out because the train was driving at walking speed anyway. Or when that completely empty train station hall with the one old lady filing her nails at the counter who I only managed to successfully communicate with in Russian. Wild country
