hm shit fact: your mastodon profile's search index setting is kinda irrelevant, because if someone who opted in (or bad instance default) boosts your toots they become search engine searchable anyways

@f0x i think the solution to this is to mainly use followers only posts but that's really inconvenient and also has it's own issues
