@f0x looks pretty good to me ^^ I had a quick look at the datasheet - seems like the pins are aligned correctly.
@adb i guess that makes sense, you wouldn't want to do such cross-over in a flat cable either
@f0x so, I just grabbed a random SATA cable and measured it. It's not cross over. Anyways, as you are designing a pin to pin adapter it doesn't matter, as long the port isn't upside down xD
tbh still not sure if I parsed the 7 pin SATA (no 3dmodel) datasheet correctly, if I need to reverse the pins that'd be a big pain
