looking at tiling window managers. thinking of trying Left cos it's in Rust and it's called Left
herbstluftwm has a pretty rad name too tho 🤔 technical considerations are always so hard to decide

@elilla used that for a while, but really didn't like how floating/tiling/fullscreen always applied to the whole workspace instead of single windows.
So now quite happy with bspwm for.. years actually

@f0x apparently herbst is doing single window floating since 0.8 released this year
@f0x don't have multiple monitors but I admit that despite the uncute name the conceptual elegance of bspwm is attractive
