@raichoo I have some problems with Matrix. Yes it is a shiny new thing, and I am not against shiny new things, I am just again shiny new things, that do not work. A lot of my contacts disabled XMPP completely and moved to matrix. But I can not use it, cause if you have a goole-free device, your battery is empty after 4 hours (sic!). So yes, I complain about shiny shity new things. Give ma a working client on android, and I am in. Meanwhile for me, it is destroying communications channels.

@sven222 @raichoo@chaos.social that's bullshit. non-GCM Element/Riot works fine, and just as well as your XMPP app would, cause they do the exact same thing in that regard...
