A friend asked me about a good platform to start a blog on. I'm assuming they want an easy user interface and probably comments so a static site generator might not be the best way.
Any advice?

@floi either a https://writefreely.org or https://joinplu.me/ instance, they even federate with mastodon etc so you can leave comments that way
@floi i've tried both in the past, and I run write.pixie.town which is writefreely.
but personally I do just run my own static site gen, and don't even blog as much as I want
@f0x any tips on healthy instances? do you use either of these yourself?
