@polychrome iirc most adblockers will add a context menu option to block the right-clicked element, which could be quicker than devtools
@f0x I'm mostly worried that some iffy site will decide my removing the DIV means I've accepted their policy.
@polychrome don't think that'd fly under GDPR, but I'm pretty sure those cookie walls are *already* illegal
@f0x they are illegal. Forcing you to accept a tracking cookie for advertising purposes in order to access a website when the tracking for advertising isn't part of why you're accessing the website is prohibited.
It's just that this approach is convenient and nobody sued the hell out of these websites yet.
I'm waiting for someone to make the first big lawsuit.
