I feel like maybe I should write a blogpost/thingie about my perspective on JavaScript. The thing is, I am both a very firm believer that sites should use a minimal amount of JS and degrade as smoothly as possible. On the other hand, I enjoy writing full-fledged web-*applications* with frameworks such as React. I do this because it's by far the most accessible, and nicest to use language for writing such software.
