On the walk back from the post office, I saw this friend on the path heading towards the road.
Their fate was either going to be foot squished or tyre squished.
Luckily I have found these in the garden... So like a mad person...
I found two dry clean leaves & carefully let them wander onto one, whilst using the other as a roof. To passers by I looked like I was communing with the stones of the tarmac.
It shifted a bit in the wind, so I had to cradle them closer, looking more like someone with a precious leaf collection.
So after 10mins of walking I dropped them off in the garden where I've seen them before, hopefully that gives a better chance to this little furry creature.
