I really do not understand how someone can listen to Trumps thetoric and not consider him a fascist.

but then, in my school History lessons included "here's things the Nazis did and said, look out for these things so you recognise them when someone does so now", including blaming problems on minorities, us vs them rhetoric, labelling press as liars, saying they want to restore the country to a past better state...

@Anke Yeah, american education failed terribly in that regard, and many, *many* others to boot, through a consistent campaign of sabotage and control of learning materials, continually tightened by scaremongering over "deviant" ideas being taught

It's already been on the path to fascism, they're just going completely mask-off about it now.
