you know, I'm surprised that no-one has made a giant freaking lazer to shoot at the moon yet. "oh but that's not scientific that's just messing around" ok fine we'll make it scientific; we'll fire different wavelengths of lasers and measure the reflectivity of the moon. I mean, we already know that the moon reflects VHF radio waves shot at it and visible light is basically the same as radio waves except just higher frequency. we need to get on this
