@elfi And instead of the glasses revealing an "ugly alien" it simply reveals the otherwise-invisible benevolent alien creature controlling a preserved human corpse as a meat puppet.
@mos_8502 Ooh, and the climax could have the drifter and an alien working symbiotically to attack a cornerstone corporate facility, whether a major processing plant or private prison holding a bunch of activists who rose to fight previously
