Ha, of course, there are legit criticisms of #TheBadSpace. I hear them all the time from people who are actually trying to help.
But I'm tickled by people who have gotten on their soapbox in the last couple of days to froth about how DANGEROUS the site is, but having no idea who it really works, despite me talking about it since I started working on the thing.
It's funny because if they just sat and talked to me, they'd realize many of their concerns have been addressed or in the process of being addressed because they've been raised by several people.
But it's not really about talking. It's about virtue signaling and performing for their bigot friends who don't like that their behavior is getting tracked.
They believe attacking me will validate their point, but their irrationality anger and flat out ignorance are confirming the need of the bad space in the first place.
They don't realize the people who work with me are laughing at them.
Because they see what they're doing.
@elfi@social.pixie.town It's just a part of the process.
I knew I would get pushback because I'm dealing with the worst parts of the fedi.
I just think it's funny how they are falling over themselves to show what they are.
