Well it looks like GDQ finally decided what to do about the Darkest Dungeon run and the choice appears to be just never publishing it and putting it in the same unhistory box as the cheated MGS run and Rocko's Quest.
That's a shame; that wasn't the runner's fault and if I got a run into GDQ just to have it unhistory'd because of things that happened around vee during it I'd be pretty sad.
Marathon production needs a clear policy on what to do if something "bad" happens live like that and it needs to be stuck to. The runner isn't going to know what to do in front of 100k people; they're gonna fawn.

Ultimately there weren't many choices. I'd figured they'd go with "Edit the video and block the messages" but I guess even that gives too much attention to the people who did it?

@elfi Runner didn't disable Steam overlay or log out of Steam. Staff didn't give clear direction to pause and fix it when it was discovered.
You can probably guess the rest. It wasn't good.
