Its a charming concept and my partner loves putting them together, just like
Man the marketing just seems so forceful that it just feels like this canvas for capitalism to project onto
There's movies, video games, everything's super branded, it sells itself as universally beloved and the brand loyalty is intense
And it's just built around the concept of building blocks.

@heatherhorns used to be it wasn't so brand heavy, but the company was purportedly having financial difficulties and Lego Star Wars turned out to be the mass market appeal they were looking for so they went all-in on brand tie-ins
