Oops. The FFXIV 6.3 World First got got, and then someone almost immediately leaked a recording showing the static that got it was using *significant* cheat tools. Not just DPS meters and such.
Far as I understand Squenix dislikes world firsts as it is, and has been on the brink of cracking down harder on mods as it is, and every time something like this happens I wonder if this is finally gonna be it and the you-know-what is going to hit the fan.

@trysdyn My sidhe told me that last time this happened, Square-Enix said they were going to stop acknowledging world firsts if it happened again. Which it just did.
Sounds like they just ruined it for a whoooole lotta people, and for what?
@elfi Yeah far as I'd heard YoshiP himself doesn't like the idea of world firsts. Just finishing capstone Ultimates should be the mark of honor, not working 20 hours a day to do it first.
I'd honestly LOVE de-normalizing WFs.
