Even with the bad graphics of the Quest version, it feels like you're really there in the world of the MMORPG. When I took off my headset it after a couple hours of running around Zenith in VR it was legit jarring to be back in reality.
I surprised another player by being level 4 in a high level area. I swooped in and helped him take down a level 25 sharkman pirate.
"How are you not dead!?"
"I'm just that good."
I got some high level loot and I got to brag about being a beater lol.
Also somehow he got to like level 30 without finding out that healing mages can teleport.

@elfi Kinda. The bonus gear they gave to beta players is called Beater. It's a Nervegear-like helmet, Kirito's whole outfit, and his cool green sword.
You had to get people to use a referral link to join the Zenith Discord in order to get it the Beater gear. I'm not particularly interested in cosplaying Kirito, so I only bothered to get the first item (the helmet).
