The first level of Warplanes is really good. Can't wait to play the rest after I get my VR legs back.
You play as a World War One era biplane pilot, soaring thousands of feet over the ground in a janky airplane held together with hopes and dreams. Seriously had an "oh fuck" moment when I looked down and saw my cockpit was a glorified wooden barrel.
On the upside you can grab bombs, a flare gun, or a machine gun and just lean out your cockpit to shoot at/throw things at your enemies.
Yeah heat seeking missiles are cool and all, but have you ever leaned out your cockpit to yeet a grenade at a war-blimp?Just let your ride glide while stand up, turn around, and shoot the kraut on your tail with a flare gun?
