Had a small power outage for about 5 seconds. My computer thankfully wasn't taken out by it though, due to the UPS I got a few years ago.
Though my mother's computer did get taken out despite using a UPS, likely because its not plugged in to the right outlets on it.
@zauberin my sister's UPS also has issues, its switch time is greater than her computer's threshold
@elfi Well, I think my mother's UPS is fine. Its just that only two of the six outlets on it are linked with the battery backup, and I think her computer is plugged in to one of the four other non-battery-backed outlets.
@elfi Yeah. Also pretty sure that even with the battery, my computer will get knocked out if there's an outage while I'm running a GPU-intensive game
