My partner's wife bought a 1/1000 scale Gunbuster model kit and gave it to me to put together.
At first she mistakenly said it was 1/100 scale and I freaked out a little bit. A 1/100 scale Gunbuster would have been over 7 feet tall.
Anyways it's technically a belated Christmas gift, but I'm planning to display it in the dining room, so it's really a gift for the household.
