Casting a desperate line into the void:

When I was in high school in Maryland - this would have been 1994-1996 - I was introduced to a book of indie comics that were along the lines of "Ren and Stimpy" - they feel very similar to the "cats" comics in "Three Panel Soul", if you're familiar. It was a housecat and, I believe, a dog, having adventures around the house; the cat was the more intelligent, but not *super*intelligent. In my memory, the comic was named "Hoohy and Spap".

Anyone recognize this?

I was introduced to these comics at the same time as Peter Hannan's "Adventures of a Huge Mouth", and for a long time I thought they were Hannan's comics, but I'm increasingly sure they aren't - just contemporary and with a similar sense of humor.

@noelle I read that as "Adventures of a Huge Moth" and now I feel like this needs to be made to bring balance to a world devoid of it
