Oh, and for a smile - her nurse while she was on the Covid ward (waiting for test results which came back negative, yay) would talk with her about boxing and play chess with her. When she got moved to the ICU he asked to transfer up so he could still be her nurse. She was complaining that she hadn't brushed her teeth or hair, and the next day an 'anonymous' person left her a care package with a toothbrush, hair brush, chocolate, crisps, and a plug adaptor to charge her phone. <3
@welshpixie Yeah, hopefully having him up there will help everyone in the ICU more too
@elfi Right?? She's being really well looked after, especially considering they're so short staffed because of the pandemic - there's two nurses on the ICU when there should be six :(
