honestly i am so satisfied with my laptop (macbook pro 14in M1, 2021)

it wasn't cheap and i don't usually buy new computers, but 3 years later it's really looking to be a nice robust long-term purchase - this thing is still in good shape, feels totally current, it's easily at less than half its useful lifespan. probably could still be useful at 10 years old. at worst maybe it'll need a new battery eventually, but that's actually easy to replace

i think this is the first laptop i've genuinely liked
