hosting a server with a big RAID array and having friends upload stuff to it (whether to share or to preserve) is fun, because sometimes I find something really cool on my hard drive that I didn’t know I had

also, having nerdy friends who ask you “hey can you test Y with me” when Y requires a random test file quite often ends up with me getting some cool file that I didn’t know I needed/wanted, but.. it’s here now, and I highly enjoy that
