doll that runs on old mechanical cams. it's basically a small warehouse filled with gears, leaving it entirely immobile. this would normally render it incapable of performing any of its duties.

but the shifting patterns of gears and wheels visible from outside make humans who walk by feel like maybe they should do some tasks for it. after all, they have plenty of time, and those gears are soooo shiny...
