Several years ago, if you were a reputable datacenter and you told your customer "nope, we won't tell you which facility/rack your server is located in", you'd lose that customer, it would be considered a mark of serious unprofessionalism

But if you're a cloudycloud provider like Google or Amazon, apparently people just shrug and accept that
